Your ballot, your privacy.
Vote without an account
Pick a race winner without signing in or giving us your email. We use your IP address to limit each race ballot to one saved pick. Selecting another driver replaces your previous choice.
What we keep
For voting, F1Fix stores a hashed identifier derived from your IP address, your selected driver and the times of your edits. The identifier is different for each ballot; raw IP addresses are not stored in voting records or returned to visitors. Railway may retain IP addresses in its network logs.
People sharing a network may share one public IP and therefore one pick. Changing networks may allow another pick. Vote totals are public; hashed identifiers and individual edit histories are private.
After voting closes
Picks and their edit history are retained to preserve the result at the deadline. Existing account records from the earlier sign-in system remain separate; they are not required for these polls.
Independent and noncommercial
F1Fix is an unofficial, free fan project. We use no advertising trackers or device fingerprints. A preference cookie remembers whether to hide race results.
